Studio Ghibli is a staple of Japanese animated films. Most of his productions are now cult:The Tomb of the Fireflies (1988), Ponyo on the cliff (2008), Princess Mononoke (1997), Spirited Away (2001), Kingdom of Cats (2002) or My Neighbor Totoro (1988). These films all convey a lot of emotions while making us dream. But since 2016, with La Tortue Rouge , Studio Ghibli did not produce a film. And, we're not going to hide it, we miss it. But that will soon change as the studio is recruiting digital artists to participate in its upcoming productions. A dream job for all fans of Japanese anime and Studio Ghibli, who will have the chance to work alongside Hayao Miyazaki and his son Goro Miyazaki.
But to be able to apply for this position (the Ghibli studio will undoubtedly receive a lot of requests), you must meet several criteria:speak Japanese fluently (obviously), know how to use OpenTooz or Retaz and Photoshop and be over 20 years old. If everything is good on your side, all you have to do is go to the ad and download a document that will ask you for your CV and your motivations. Those chosen will be paid 250,000 Yen (approximately 2,000 euros) per month.
You have until May 31, 2019 to apply. If you are selected, you will have a call on June 14, 2019. All that remains is to cross your fingers.
