It's okay. There is a great ticket template that comes with Microsoft Word 2010 and newer. When you create a new document in Word, simply type “raffle tickets” in the search box. Below you will see a thumbnail image of the template.
Click on that and a new window will open. This window tells you a bit about the template. To use it, simply click the Create button. You will need to be connected to the internet to download it.
Most of the changes you make to the parent ticket are automatically made to all other tickets as well. No need for tiresome copy and paste. The template shows only 5 tickets, but once you have them the way you want, just multiply them using copy and paste.
Note, however, that sequential numbering is not automatic. You would have to edit that on each ticket. We'll deal with how to do that later.
WordTemplatesBundle.com currently has 6 different templates available for free. Two of them are regular tickets that would be great for things like an office or classroom raffle. The other four are the most useful as they do the serial numbering automatically.
The four templates with automatic serial numbering are quite nice and one of them will probably be suitable for your needs. You can edit them too. If you're going to do that, save the original template separately. Doing so will give you a new template, in case you need one.

The SEQ or sequential numbering feature in Word is the best and fastest way to number your tickets. Many raffle ticket templates use them, however few sites explain how it works. To see if it uses the SEQ function, you must first download the template. Then open it in Word, right click in the center of where the serial number is, then right click.
When the context menu opens, look for the Edit Field... option . If it doesn't exist, then your template doesn't use the SEQ function. If it exists, click on it. When the following window opens, you should see SEQ in the Progress field properties cash register. That template definitely uses SEQ.
This type of template is very easy and quick to create a multitude of serialized tickets. You don't have to change every number or manually update every field. That is too tedious. The lottery could be over before you're done.
