Partying all night long (and beyond!) is fun… but looking good the next day is not easy! And we don't always know it, but a single sleepless night has consequences for the body, including a disruption of the immune system (in other words, we are more likely to get sick), a disruption of hormones (which explains why we are sometimes very hungry) or even trouble concentrating. So, if we don't want our boss to notice our (little) lack of sleep, here are some tips!
Even if we would have spent a 100% lazy day (re) watching all the episodes of Game of Thrones, work is calling us! Before leaving, wake up (gently) your body, starting with a shower, a coffee and a vitamin-packed breakfast consisting of fresh fruit and wholemeal bread, for example. The rest of the day, we especially do not fall for fatty dishes, too difficult to digest and we prefer a light menu, rich in protein. And as a sleepless night is often (too) watered, we think of drinking water regularly throughout the day, so as to avoid dehydration, which leads to strong migraines. If the urge to sleep becomes more and more intense, it is better not to give in to it before a reasonable time (around 6-7 p.m.) so as not to upset your entire sleep pattern. Finally, we adopt a positive attitude and overuse phrases such as “Tired me? Never ! or even “Me, I still have the peach of my 18 years! “… even if we know that it is not (exactly) true, it motivates! Good night… sorry! Have a nice day!
