If your spreadsheets look bland, a little color can go a long way to sprucing them up. In addition to making it more visually appealing, color can help you quickly distinguish between different parts of your spreadsheet.
1. You can change the color of the cell borders.! Select any cell or range of cells, then use the border button (to the right of the paint can) to select which borders to insert. The pencil icon in this popup allows you to change the color of the border.
2. If you have more than one sheet in a workbook, you can color code your tabs! Just right click on a tab at the bottom of the screen and choose Change color from the menu. With a few different colors, you can quickly see which sheets need to be worked on at a glance or which ones are complete.
3. When multiple people are working on a spreadsheet, you can see the color changes for each person.! Go to File> View revision history to see the list of changes in your workbook. Each user's edits will appear in their own color, allowing you to see exactly who changed at any time.
