Blank pages can be scary. Blank slides too when it comes to creating PowerPoint presentations.

PowerPoint QuickStarter works like a template. But unlike other design-focused templates, it's smart and offers both:design with an outline . And it takes only three steps.
Open PowerPoint 2016. Select File>New . Then select the QuickStarter template. It is usually the third in sight..
Enter a topic to search for in the search field. You can also choose from a popular theme that is displayed at the bottom of the dialog.
Artificial intelligence intervenes. But you have to turn on the intelligent Office services that are part of Office 365 in the cloud. Turn it on when prompted if it's not on. QuickStarter collects information (with the help of Bing and Wikipedia now) and presents you with a list of topics related to the topic you searched for.
Check one or more boxes for the topics you want to include in the outline. You can also use Select all To choose all themes at once. Each topic you select becomes a slide in the outline. Click Next advance to design.
Choose a design from the templates shown for your presentation, then click Create . PowerPoint 2016 pulls together your outline presentation and opens it for you.
Please note that this is not a finished presentation. It's a “jump start” to your research Go through the slides to discard and add information as you see fit. Sometimes there is additional information in the Notes below the slide. These can be jump points for further investigation.
For example, the second slide brings together related topics. Use the smart search feature to dig deeper into talking points.
