36% of French people use collaborative platforms, according to a report by the European Parliament. And among them, more and more of them are trying their hand at jobbing. But what is it? This new trend, in full expansion, is based on the principle of services between individuals for all daily tasks. Since 2013, many collaborative platforms have been created, such as the “Mon Super Voisin” application for example, recently released, which consists of helping neighbors and helping each other. A real phenomenon, “jobbing” was the subject of a first barometer published by the leader in job search on the internet, Jobijoba. In April 2017, the site counted 46,855 advertisements for odd jobs paid by the task or the mission (which represented 5% of the offers!). After analyzing all of these ads, the finding was clear:the French are looking first and foremost to entrust moving-do-it-yourself-gardening assignments (49.1% of offers), baby-sitting (35.7%) and household (6.6%). As for jobbers, many of them are looking for offers of cleaning and personal assistance (24.8%), host or hostess in events (17%) and school support (14.8%). 2%). From a geographical point of view, it is in Ile-de-France that the most offers are concentrated (20%), followed by the Rhône-Alpes region (14%) and Pays de la Loire (7%). ).
Supplementary income, student job, lifestyle choice… These service platforms between individuals now seem to be the preferred method for increasing income. It may also be important to specify that the level of education and experience are not decisive, only the availability of the candidates remains the priority criterion. So, when do we get started?
