This figure has increased by 7 points compared to April, when a previous study was put in place. 43% of new teleworkers believe that the crisis has made a positive change their appreciation of working from home.
The reasons for this satisfaction are mainly due to the increased flexibility and flexibility, for 80% of respondents to the survey. Telework could then be generalized, which is what employees want. Indeed, 84% of French people would like to continue working from home after confinement and 44% would like to work remotely on a more regular basis. These new habits are therefore very promising, but require a certain vigilance.
If telework appeals to many employees, it can also have repercussions that are not always positive, especially on health. The study reveals that 27% of teleworkers declare that this situation has a negative impact on their physical health . For 44%, it was the lack of physical activity that was observed, but for 45%, in this particular situation of confinement, working at home led to a deterioration in their working postures, and 25% a deterioration of their dietary practices. In addition, 33% mention degraded sleep and 48% of respondents have difficulty disconnecting from work. Their mental load is then increased.
