One way around it is to simply type in the link:makeuseof.com. In this case, a link preview will not be created. Another option is to embed your links in the text of your message, but that can be a hassle if all you're trying to do is share a quick link with contacts.
Instead, you can go into Outlook settings and disable preview in four easy steps:
If you really like the feature but don't want it to always appear in your messages, you can selectively remove the link preview on a case-by-case basis.
After pasting the link into the body of your email, you can remove the link preview by clicking the gray X next to the link:
If you use the desktop or mobile versions of Outlook, the link preview option is not available to you.
