One way around it is to simply type in the link:makeuseof.com. In this case, a link preview will not be created. Another option is to embed your links in the text of your message, but that can be a hassle if all you're trying to do is share a quick link with contacts.

Instead, you can go into Outlook settings and disable preview in four easy steps:

  1. Go Settings And under Your application settings , click Mail.
  2. Under Design click Preview link .
  3. Uncheck Preview links in email .
  4. Click Save .

If you really like the feature but don't want it to always appear in your messages, you can selectively remove the link preview on a case-by-case basis.
