Now when you manually run the Spelling and Grammar check in the review On the ribbon tab, you'll see how easy your document is to understand plus any grammar issues.
The output is just a raw score from two tests:Flesch Reading Ease and Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level; You can find more information about these on the Microsoft page if you want. Basically, Flesch Reading Ease grades the text out of 100 points; higher is easier to understand, 60-70 is a good target.
For the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Test, your score is based on a grade level that could understand you, so a 9.0 means it's appropriate for a ninth grader, and so on. A score of 7.0 - 8.0 is a good target here.
