The majority of Dutch people are proud of their work and enjoy going to work every day. More than 86% of employees indicate that they are proud of the work they do. The statement 'I like my work' is assessed on average with a score of 8.0. This is apparent from a recent study by Effectory among 300,000 employees in the Netherlands.
Why are employees so positive about their work? Contact with colleagues in the first place has a lot of influence on this. The statement 'I have pleasant colleagues' scores an average of 8.1. More than 78% of employees believe that colleagues interact well within their organization. In addition, the opportunity for personal development is important. Employees have the feeling that their work makes a useful contribution (again, score 8.1). Work also stimulates them in their personal development (7,8).
