One of the advantages of the OneNote app is that the desktop version is not regularly updated. The app recently received an update; Let's review the big changes you'll find in the new version.

• You can click and drag your notebooks around to reorder them.
• If you need some extra security, add a password to a section by right-clicking on it and selecting Password protection> Add password . Make sure you don't forget it or it will be excluded from that section.
• The gallery of shapes in the Draw The tab now includes flowchart tools like circles and arrows.
• If you have an image or other file inside a notebook, you can right-click on it and save the item to your computer. This is useful for shared notebooks.

• When you want to add a new page, you can now do so below the current page instead of at the bottom of the list.
• Layers allow you to change which tables, images and shapes are in front of or behind each other.
• Paragraph controls allow you to reorder or collapse sections of text.
• Finally, OneNote now includes different bullet styles if you're tired of the old circles.
