Have you ever stumbled across a blank page in a Microsoft Word document, but have no idea why it's there? A few different things could be causing this. You must establish the source of the problem before you can apply the remedy.

Read more). Scroll through the document and find the ¶ icon. To remove unnecessary ones, highlight the icon with the mouse and press Delete .
Accidental manual page breaks They are usually the cause of empty pages in the middle of a document.
Once again, you can use paragraph marks to help you find the problem. A page break looks like this:
To get rid of it, place the cursor at the beginning of the page break line and press Delete .
Section breaks are used when you want to split and format a document in different ways. They are subdivided into Next page , Odd page , and Even the page section cuts.
A section cut looks like this:
To remove it, place the cursor before the pause and press Delete .
Warning: Removing section breaks can mess up the formatting of your document. To remove the blank page but keep the different formatting styles, use a continuous break instead.
