CVs, cover letters, social networks, a large part of the recruitment process has been happening for many years on digital media. So why not a “video selfie” to apply for a job? The RegionsJob site provides its users with a platform allowing them to post a free video presentation of their profile and their motivations for the attention of companies.
RegionsJob, a site dedicated to local professional mobility, announces the second edition of the "video selfie" for the week of June 1 to 7. This digital recruitment operation essentially targets the most difficult jobs to recruit:salespeople, engineers, IT specialists.
Registrations have been open since May 25. In their personal space, the candidates will be able to film themselves between 30 seconds and 1m30, the time to answer five questions. Once the video is finished, the candidates choose, from among twenty advertisers, the companies to which they wish to send their filmed interview.
The first edition of the “video selfie” took place at the end of 2014. Twenty-five advertisers each received between 6 and 34 videos. In all, almost 300 candidates had identified themselves on the site's platform.
