The workplace is one of the places where a large number of future partners meet. It's understandable:an ultra-professional and efficient colleague who you meet several times and unexpectedly in the corridors can quickly become the object of a fantasy. And good news:having a crush at work is good for morale because it motivates and develops the imagination (yes, yes, we're talking about that scenario where you lock yourself up with Martin in the meeting room…) . Second good news:if you actually fall for a Martin (or whatever his sweet first name), it could be that the story materializes soon since a study affirms that winter is the season conducive to rapprochement between colleagues. Conducted by the British company Reboot, which specializes in the creation of sites, the research targeted 2,000 employees who had to describe the relationships at work. 45% of them admitted to having had an affair with a colleague at some point in their life. Ah yes, anyway!
Nearly half of these co-workers in love (40%) preferred to hide their relationship from the rest of the company, in part because one in five relationships were extramarital in nature. But the most interesting is to come:two thirds of these liaisons began during the winter months, and more precisely on a somewhat clichéd occasion which is none other than the Christmas pot at work. Put down that glass of champagne, you risk ending up in the blink of an eye with Jean-Marc, the dork with schoolboy jokes… More than 30% of first kisses between colleagues happen at this event for which many people put on their 31 - this explains that ! The deadline is fast approaching, which is why it is better to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages that sleeping with a Martin from the accounting department entails. Follow the leader ! If you are calm after this, then we wish you all good luck in advance!
